Taxi2Gate Releases Hamad International Airport V2

279768 Doh 25

A surprise, to be sure, but a welcome one. Taxi2Gate has released a new version of Hamad Intl. Airport for Prepar3D v4 and v5. The new version comes with several adjustments over the previous version, which starts with Prepar3D v4 and v5 compatibility. Although usable (with some user tweaks), the old scenery continued to have some issues in newer versions of the simulator, that are now resolved. Furthermore, the scenery is now featuring PBR textures and SODE jetways. The scenery also features updates to reflect the on-going construction work for the terminal expansion. And much like in the previous version, this scenery still features the city of Doha, although it is not clear if the team has updated the city itself.

Taxi2Gate Hamad International Airport V2 can be purchased for €25,99 from SimMarket. Customers of the previous version of this scenery are entitled to an upgrade fee of €15.

Taxi2Gate Returns Teasing New Prepar3D Airport

TAXI2GATE AIRPORT P3D

Scenery developer Taxi2Gate has been relatively absent from development for many years. After a period of time where the team would pump out airports incredibly fast, the team has been mostly missing in action. Whilst they did release a new version of Hong Kong Airport most recently, the Taxi2Gate has yet to release any new airports for Prepar3D in some time. However, a post on Facebook appears to tease a new airport coming soon to Prepar3D.

The single screenshot did not show too much, but fans on Facebook were quick to guess that it could indeed be Indianapolis International Airport (KIND). The terminal building in the screenshot does appear to show off the airport’s unique design. Whilst we don’t have confirmation at this point, many people do agree that it could be the American airport.

We’ll keep you posted on any further development progress or news as we get it. What airport do you think it is?
