Scenery developer, Pilot Plus has announced Biggin Hill EGKB for Microsoft Flight Simulator.
Biggin Hill is located just outside South East London and started life as a World War I airfield and later home for Spitfire and Hurricane Squadrons during WWII. Biggin Hill today sees just private business jets and general aviation movements as the airfield are restricted from operating scheduled fare-paying services despite having a runway capable of handling a 737/A320.
Developer Pilot Plus has announced they will be bringing London Oxford Airport (EGTK) to Microsoft Flight Simulator. The airport is located north of Oxford and typically sees general aviation and business aviation. Furthermore, the airport is also home to the largest training academy in Europe, including Leading Edge Aviation and CAE Oxford Academy.
The team at Pilot Plus has said that they have worked with airport management to get extensive access to the airport to provide a true-to-life digital recreation of the airport. The team went on-site to collect reference imagery that they could use to bring the most detailed rendition of the airport as possible to Microsoft Flight Simulator.
So far the team has released a handful of renders from the airport in development, but they said that combined with the new photogrammetry in the city of Oxford, the airport will look “incredible.”

London Oxford joins the likes of London Wycombe and London Southend for Microsoft Flight Simulator by Pilot Plus.
