For the past (nearly) 6 years, FSElite has existed in one form or another. From our humble podcast beginnings to the current state of our new site. Having delivered thousands upon thousands of news articles, reviews, originals and developer interviews during that time. At times it has been tough, but the driving force behind why we continue to deliver is you: our community.
Whether you’re a streamer, podcaster, content creator, publisher, developer, fellow media outlet, freeware creator, hardcore study-level jetliner simmer, or first-time simmer, every single person who has contributed to the flight sim space has had a huge impact on where we are today.
For the past year (maybe longer if I include the R&D), there have been thousands of hours dedicated by us to create our new platform. A platform that, we hope, will be the new benchmark for what flight simulation media should look like. We have always strived to be innovative, challenge convention and inspire – I feel our new generation of content will do all of that. That’s fairly bold words, I’ll admit, but I would like to think the thousands of hours will have paid off in weeks to come when you’re experiencing our vision for the future.
The last time we refreshed our site, we did it by surprise. This time, we want to celebrate; with those that have helped shape who we are today, provided us with invaluable feedback and made us work even harder to provide the content you see from us on a daily basis. That’s why, on Saturday, November 20th, we will be hosting our Launch Party: one online and one in-person!
In-Person – Wanna come?!
On Saturday, November 20th an exclusive party will be happening in the heart of Bath, UK where members of the FSElite team will be joined by developers, content creators and members of the community for a night of socialising and sneak peeks at future content! Even better is that we’re opening up the opportunity to a limited number of people who wish to come along.
Our in-person event (limited to 30 or so people) will be the perfect way to connect with simmers and like-minded people over free drinks and food. You’ll have the chance to get some exclusive looks at some great new products, win some cool prizes and also get a free gift bag full of neat keepsakes.
We’re giving away some tickets to the event. If you’re interested and (this is important) can make it, you can enter our raffle now! Do note the following info:
- Date: Saturday, November 20th 2021. Doors will open from 6pm. Please arrive no later than 6:30pm.
- Location: Bath, United Kingdom (exact location will only be disclosed to those invited)
- Dress code: Smart casual
- Includes: Some free drinks (3) and a buffet dinner
- Cost: Free!
We are also mandating that all attendees are either fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (any WHO-approved Vaccine) or test negative using a lateral flow test within 48-hours of the event. You will need to provide evidence of this prior to the event. Full health and safety info will be provided to those invited. It’s worth noting you must be over 18 to enter the contest and attend.

Join Us for our Online Launch Party
We know that our community is global and we want to celebrate with as many of you as possible. That’s why we’re also going to be hosting an online launch party! Hosted by the FSElite team, we’ll be flying online on Microsoft Flight Simulator into a UK airport (near our in-person launch location). During this, we’ll be showcasing some cool products, giving away prizes and also showcasing our new platform in a bit more detail.
